Can Dogs Transmit Sexually Transmitted Diseases?

Hey altogether everyone, i've been hearing any conflicting data on whether or not dogs can transmit sexually transmitted diseases (stds) to humans or to more dogs. Can anybody shed any light on this topic?

That's an fascinating question. I've never exactly believed on it before. I know that specified diseases like brucellosis can be transmitted amongst dogs by breeding, but i'm not of course on stds specifically.

I've read that any stds, like herpes and chlamydia, can be passed in between dogs by means of erotic speak to. It's not very typical, but it is possible. Nevertheless, as far as i know, dogs can't transmit stds to humans.

That's a relief to attend. I was a bit worried on the probability of contracting an std from my dog. But what about the more course around? Can humans transmit stds to dogs?

I think it's unlikely for people to transmit stds to dogs, specifically through sensual contact. Dogs get distinct anatomy and physiology than humans, so most person stds wouldn't be able to survive or thrive in a dog's body.

That makes sense. Dogs are susceptible to their personal established of diseases and infections, but individual stds probably aren't among st them. Still, it's critical to practice safe sex and to keep the two yourself and your pets wholesome.

Definitely. It's constantly a good notion to just take precautions and to be conscious of the potential risks, even if they're rare. Thanx for the information, absolutely everyone. I feel much more informed now.
