Right. From what i understand, hpv mrna e6/e7 is not the virus itself, but rather the genetic material associated with specified high-risk strains of hpv that can lead to cancer. So, while it's not transmitted in the same style as the virus, it's nevertheless carefully linked to sexual activity merely simply because hpv is mostly spread via sexual contact.
