Absolutely. In indonesia, there can be a lot of pressure to conform to standard gender roles and expectations. People who identify as sexually fluid or pansexual may confront discrimination or stigma, both within their families and communities and in broader society. There can on top be legal barriers to expressing their identities openly, as indonesia does not at present recognize same-sex marriage or give legal protections for lgbtq+ peoples.
