I think voluntary guidelines could be a good compromise. It permits for self-regulation inside the blogging community while nevertheless promoting responsible methods. It could also help foster a perception of accountability among creators. But ofcourse, it would require widespread participation and buy-in from the blogging community. Do you think bloggers would be willing to adopt this kind of guidelines?
