Hey all?. After starting Trileptal a while back, I've noticed that my libido is not as strong as it used to be. It's quite frustrating, has anyone else faced these sexual side effects as well? ?

Hi there. That can definitely be a side effect of Trileptal. Have you spoken to your physician about it? Their advice can be really helpful.

Hi, Yeah, I have. My doctor says it can happen, but I just wanted to know to what extent this happens to other people too.

I faced something similar after starting Trileptal. It's pretty tough, I understand. Give your body time to adjust, things may improve. Every individual reacts to medications differently, after all! ?

Just to add, I've been on Trileptal for over two years now. Initially, I did face these libido changes. But eventually, my body adapted to it. So don't lose hope!

I believe exercise and a balanced diet can help mitigate these side effects. That's what helped me when I faced this with a different medication. Hope you feel better! ?
