Hey folks, i've been having this issue with my car lately where it starts vibrating each time i come to a stop. Any considered what could be generating this?
That sounds frustrating! When you say it vibrates, is it a delicate agitate or more of a apparent jolt?
It's absolutely noticeable, like every thing car shakes for a few seconds before settling down again. It doesn't show up all the time, but it's been obtaining more continual lately.
Hmm, there could be a few distinct elements leading to that kind of vibration. Get you checked your tires recently? Often uneven tire wear or low tire tension can result in vibrations, mainly when pending to a cease.
I haven't checked them just lately, nonetheless i'll definitely just take a look. I did have a flat tire some weeks ago, so perhaps there's some residual concern from that.
It could on top be related to your brakes. If your brake pads are worn down or if there's an issue with your brake rotors, it could trigger vibrations when you implement the brakes.
That's a good stage. I haven't remark any troubles with braking, but it's surely worth investigating farther.
An additional possibility could be engine mounts. If your engine mounts are worn out or damaged, it could trigger the engine to pulse morethan usual, mainly at idle or when coming to a cease.
I hadn't believed of that. How would i go on checking the engine mounts?
You can visually inspect the engine mounts for any signs of put on or harm, like cracks or tears. You can also try out gently rocking the motor back and forth with a pry bar to see if there's excessive movement, but beware not to injury anything in the method.
