Hey all and sundry, i've been having this problem lately where my apple iphone keeps vibrating even while it's on silent mode. It's driving me crazy! Does anyone know how to fix this?
I've had the same problem before. It can be really bothersome, particularly if you're in a meeting or trying to sleep. Get you tried checking your settings to make sure the vibration is actually turned off when the phone is on silent?
Yeah, that's the first thing i would check. Sometimes, the pulse setting can have accidentally switched on, even when the ringer is silenced. Go to settings > sounds & haptics and make sure the pulse on silent selection is toggled off.
Thanks for the tip, i'll supply that a try and see if it helps. It's such a simple thing, but it can do a big distinction in conditions of preserving your sanity!
Another thing to check out is whether any distinct apps have their very own pulse settings that may be overriding the system settings. Occasionally, apps like messaging or social media te apps have their own notification settings that you can fit individually.
Excellent point! It's worth taking a look at your app settings as well to see if there are any rogue vibrations sneaking by way of. You can normally find those settings within each app's own menu or in the iphone's main settings under notifications.
I hadn't imagined of that. I'll undoubtedly just take a nearer look at my app settings and assuring everything is configured the way i want it. Hopefully, that will resolve the problem once and for all.
If all else fails, you can continually try out restarting your iphone or even resetting it to factory settings if the concern persists. Sometimes, a fresh kick off can resolve stubborn application glitches that may well be creating the vibration problem.
That's true, despite the fact that i may possibly definitely try out the simpler options first before resorting to a factory reset. It's a bit of a hassle to set every thing up again from scratch, so it's perfect to exhaust all more choices first.
Thanks for the advice, everyone! I'll commence with checking my settings and go from there. Hopefully, i'll be able to like some peace and muted without the constant buzzing of my intelligent phone.
