I've listened to these conditions used interchangeably, but what really distinguishes sexual assault from sensual battery?
From my understanding, intimate assault involves any unwanted sexual make contact with or behavior, while sensual battery specifically refers to physical contact of a intimate nature without assent. Is that accurate?
I think the distinction also depends on legal definitions in different jurisdictions. Can someone clarify how those terms are legally defined?
